The Lang Park PCYC was the first branch of the Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare
Association to open its doors in 1949. The club was a thriving community centre providing a large
variety of sporting and recreation activities through to arts classes, dances and a Junior Boys band.
The club is proud of its strong heritage and it is still today a prominent community centre providing
activities for all members of the community at very affordable prices. The Lang Park PCYC is also
committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for young people with a focus on youth

Senior Fitness Classes
With caring professional instructors, our seniors fitness classes are some of the best in Brisbane.
Classes now running Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9am. See our activity schedule for more details!
Looking for a gym??
We have a 200 sqm weights room equipped with pin machines
and free weights with a separate air-conditioned Cardio
There are no lock in contracts and you can pay casual,
unlimited use for $55 per month or $460 per year up-front or
$10.95 per week direct debited fortnightly. (cheaper rates for
seniors and concession card holders)

CHILL OUT SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITES
In partnerships with the Brisbane City Council Chill Out school Holiday program
we are running a number of activities in January 2015 for 12 to 17 years olds.

1.30 - 3.00pm
Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Creative DANCE & YOGA 4 Kids
6 - 12 years
Wednesdays 4pm - 5pm
Creative Dance allows children to express themselves through dance and
movement while further encouraging their development of coordination,
balance, creativity and rhythm.
Yoga 4 Kids involves playing, dancing, moving, breathing and relaxing
through a combination of yoga poses, games, breathing and visualisation
exercises. The class encourages and develops coordination, emotional calm,
physical strength, body awareness, flexibility and self confidence.

FUN - FITNESS - NEW FRIENDS
Getting your child into fitness doesn't have to
mean competitive sports.
Our classes strive to increase the overall health
and fitness of the children in a fun, safe,
positive and motivating environment by
utilizing obstacle courses, fitness games,
partner activities, body weight exercises,
resistance bands, circuits and more.

TODDLER DANCE CLASSES
Monday 11.15am - 12.00pm
A fun and energetic space for toddlers (3 - 5yrs) to play, explore and
express themselves through movement. This class supports the established
Tiny Tots program by providing focused time for children, to further develop
their coordination, balance, body awareness, creativity, language and rhythm.
